1. Banana & Honey Toast:
Banana is an excellent snack item to curb hunger pangs. It can be a great source of energy for your toddler after an hour or two of playtime. Toast a slice of wholegrain bread and spread a thin (or thick) layer of peanut butter on it. Now place thin slices of banana over it and coat them with a generous dose of honey.
2. Grape Sticks:
If your toddler is reluctant to eat grapes as it is, you can serve them multiple grapes on a toothpick. You can use peeled orange slices along with the grapes. But be careful with the toothpicks. Take them away when done.

3. Apple Candy:
Cube apples. Crumble oats and add to this a bit of chocolate or butterscotch syrup. Coat apple cubes with this sweet mixture. Cool and serve.
4. Mango Yogurt:
Puree fresh mango and blend it with low-fat yogurt. Serve as it is in interesting-shaped bowls or add small pieces of papaya/strawberry to further fortify the yogurt. Vary the flavors by replacing mango with other sweet fruits or berries.

5. Melon Relish:
Cube watermelon and muskmelon, place them in a bowl and add a bit of honey. Mix well and serve.
6. Kiwi Treats:
Thinly slice a kiwi and cover them with grated cheese. Now add more fruits on top such as fresh cherries, pineapple, mango etc. They are good to eat anytime.
7. Apricot Delight:
When in season, you can use fresh apricots in a variety of ways to make healthy toddler fruit snacks. For starters, remove their pit and purée the flesh. Mix it with almond butter and use this as a sandwich spread. You can also add dried apricots or raisins in the purée.

8. Guava Circles:
Cut guava in circles. Decorate them with ingredients such as peanut butter, almond butter, chocolate chips, and other fruit pulps to make faces with moustaches. Toddlers somehow love such quirky things.
9. Pear Muffins:
Poach a pear in water and just a bit of sugar. When the fruit is cool again, peel and mash it. Add chocolate or fruit syrup to it along with a bit of flour. Cover your homemade whole wheat muffins with the pear icing instead of cream or white sugar. They are ready to eat.

10. Pineapple Parfait:
Layer a tall glass with pineapple cubes. Then alternate layers of pineapple with fresh cream, mango slices, strawberry pieces, kiwi cubes and top with ice cream or fresh cream. Add more berries on top. You can serve this as a healthy after-dinner dessert treat for the entire family.
