All kids love arts and crafts, especially when they have something to colour. Well, get your kids’ colour pencils and crayons out because it’s time to turn them into budding artists! If they love to draw or want to learn how to draw, there is an easy solution.
The solution is that they simply have to use numbers as a base! As always, kids start drawing the basics, such as people, fruits, and even animals.
Here is a fun list of animals and objects that can be drawn with a bunch of numbers. Take a look and share these tips with your little ones!
1. Number 29
This number can be used as a base for drawing a duck. This base allows you to create details such as feathers, a beak, and even water.
2. Number 3
This number can be used as a base for drawing an adorable bunny rabbit. Don’t let them forget the ears and little pom-pom tail!
3. Number 12
This number can be used as a base for a woodpecker. More fun details can be added such as the woodpecker pecking on the bark of a tree.
4. Number 19
This number can be used as a base for drawing the famous animal from Down Under – the koala bear! The number 9 is a base for the koala itself, and the 1 is the base for a tree koalas cling to.
5. Number 15
This number can be used as a base for a rooster. Yes, those roosters that go cockadoodledo. The number 1 is base for the feathery tale and the number 5 is a base for the main body.
6. Number 10
This number can be used as a base for a rooster’s female counterpart – a hen. The number 1 is a base for the head and the number 0 is used for the body.
7. Number 2
Sticking to the bird family, this number can be used as a base for a crane. The curve of the 2 is perfect for the crane’s head and body.
8. Number 4
This number can be used as a base for one more bird! Not just any bird, but a bird that is in flight. You’d think it would be difficult, but the number 4 makes it easier. The triangular part of the 4 is a good base for the head and wing.
9. Number 22
Moving onto animals found in the ocean, this number can be used as a base for a shark. The first 2 can be used for the fin and the second 2 can be used for the shark’s head.
10. Number 1
This isn’t an animal, but it like sharks, it’s found in the ocean. Yes, we’re talking about a ship. The number 1 can be used as a base for front of the ship.
Don’t forget to add details such as features, limbs, and of course, colours! Not only is this easy for your kid to draw, but it also helps with their skills. They learn how to colour, how to identify colours, how to identify numbers and animals, and of course, how to draw!
