Is Oolong Tea Safe During Pregnancy?
While you are pregnant, you should ideally not have any caffeinated drink at all. However, if you are a tea addict, you should try and limit your caffeine intake to 200 mg per day during your pregnancy. The caffeine content in Oolong tea is too negligible to cause any harm.  However, you need to check with your doctor whether you can have Oolong tea or not while expecting.
The caffeine content of Oolong tea will also depend on how you prepare it, so make sure you do not leave it to brew for too long. You may want to brew the Oolong tea a little longer to enhance its flavor or color but avoid doing so, especially while you are pregnant. A small cup of Oolong tea contains 60 mg of caffeine. Therefore, drink Oolong tea in moderation. Remember, it is never a good idea to have any caffeinated drink or oolong tea during pregnancy regularly, as it could easily lead to an excessive intake of caffeine.

What Are The Harmful Effects Of Consuming Caffeine While You Are Pregnant?
Caffeine has always been a strict no-no for all pregnant women. Although, consuming a cup or two of tea a day is safe while you are pregnant. However, it is best to avoid caffeine intake as far as possible to safeguard the little one in your womb from its harmful effects. Here are some common side effects of having caffeine during pregnancy:
