21 Things Only Low-Maintenance Women Will Understand

There are two types of women out there – high maintenance women who spend more time following their rules and low maintenance women who live life by their own rules. The good part about being a low maintenance woman is that you can survive just about anywhere!

Here are a few things that only a woman who is low maintenance will understand.

You are never late anywhere! The act of taking a shower to being completely dolled up can be done in 20 minutes or less. That’s marathon speed!

Your shoe collection has the essentials – flip flops, sneakers, a pair of heels (in case an occasion comes up) and flats.

You love sweaters – it means less effort and you get to skip the inner wear at times.

To you, the best part of being single is no shave-everyday! (unless an occasion calls for it.)

You don’t think too much about clothing. If something is stained or worn out you reuse it as night wear or gym clothing.

Your wardrobe consists of mostly a few t-shirts and a pair of jeans which you routinely wear unless a special occasion pops up.

You don’t really do your laundry. You wait until a point when there are about two outfits left in your wardrobe and damage control has to be done!

There is at least one outfit which you’ve only worn once due to the sole reason that you’re too lazy to take it to the dry cleaners.

Jewelry? Either a pair of studs or a necklace – you never take these off, and they seem to match everything anyway.

You don’t shop brands for anything. You live for comfort and if a particular product works well, you go ahead without much thought about it.

You don’t usually visit hair salons or parlors since you don’t see the need for it. But this doesn’t stop you from going all out if an occasion rises.

You prefer air drying your hair – less time, less effort.

You’ve convinced yourself that the silver strands in your hair make you look distinguished so that you can avoid dying your hair.

You only go for low maintenance cuts like layers which make you look like your hair is styled without combing it most of the time.

If you have curly hair, you thank your lucky stars because washing and combing it can be easily disguised.

A clean apartment is only existent when someone is coming over. Even then it’s people specific.

Your idea of fun involves ordering take out and watching Netflix on most nights.

You’re always up for last minute trips and you’ll be the first to be ready because packing only involves the major essentials like the clothes on your back and a toothbrush.

You avoid shopping in crowded places. The introduction of online shopping is proof enough that miracles happen in your favor.

You get along with everyone. While there are a few favorites in your bubble of people, there’s always space for someone new to come in. But there are restrictions – don’t throw off the perfect balance of my life.

You enjoy and live life to the fullest. There is no space for drama or gossip in your world since it compromises the sanctity which is your life.

If this is you in any way, you go girl. It’s fun being you and you rock your life in every way. Just remember that the world is full of extraordinary surprises and so are you.
