In order to get a good night sleep I've had to experiment with pillows. At night I sleep with 2-5 pillows. When it's just two there's one at my head and one in between my legs. When I start to get sore and can't sleep I put two pillows under my head, one under my back, one under my butt, and one either in between my legs or under my legs. This helps the pain go away very quickly and allows for a better night sleep. I also make sure to fully empty my bladder before I go to bed, even if this means going to the bathroom three times (which sounds ridiculous)! I can sleep 3-5 hours at a time without waking up.

Even better than a Boppy, but more expensive, is a feather body pillow (NOT the poly-fill kind). It can not only be molded supportively around your belly, but wrapping your arms and legs around it opens up your body frame while you sleep on your side, so your limbs aren't compressed around your organs and spine, making for less tossing and better sleep. The best thing yet is to start sleeping with one early in your pregancy so that you're used to it. Worked great for me! I slept nearly as well in my third trimester as my first!

BabyCrazy also offers a wonderful alternative that is actually MADE for body positioning during pregnancy. It's called the Memory Foam Maternity Pillow. Designed to meet the unique comfort needs of expectant mothers, this memory foam maternity pillow is the most comfortable sleeping pillow! And best of all, it's made in the USA.

I put lavender oil in a diffuser and it seems to help a bit with calming down my mind that's got a thousand things racing through it. Maybe it calms the baby, too?

What about in the beginning when you have the morning sickness and the indigestion?? I have a hard time falling asleep because I am have so much nausea. The only time I get relief is when I actually fall asleep. www.livegreeneasy2.com
