About Me
i am now a single mother of 5, 2 girls, 3 boys. i live in chicago after moving from the suburbs for the most part of my adult life as well as my teenage years. have done alot of manly jobs, such as drywall mud and taping, concrete, heavy lifting, working w/ my previous other to support our family. i am now working a normal job after 15 years and trying to be on my own again except w/ children. my 13 year old daughter is down syndrome and going thru all those "teenager hormonal" changes and needless to say, freakin me out!!!! i long to find friends, as i really lost all mine the last 18 years. although i have found some old ones again and am thankful that they were still there. i'm hoping i can find new ones to help me along w/ my new challenges and just to help out in those times of need when everything in life seems so overwhelming. i especially seek mothers of down syndrome children so that we can share our memories, concerns, questions, etc. and so that i can feel relief that i'm not the only one. hope to hear from all of you.
