You Will Need:

  • A3 paper sheet
  • Black paper
  • Pens
  • Scraps of colorful paper
  • Glue
  • Chalk
  • Small rectangle card
  • Stick tack
  • Passport size photo

How To:

  1. Show your kid how to create a house and school using the colorful scraps of paper, and paste house on the top left and the school on the bottom right on the sheet of A3 paper using the glue.
  1. Draw windows and other details on the home and school crafts using the colored pens and chalk.
  1. Cut out 15 rectangles (number of rectangles should be equal to the number of days left for school to reopen) from the black paper, and arrange and paste them on the A3 paper such that they form a path from home to school.
  1. Write numbers on the black rectangles, starting with 15 at the house and counting down to 1 on the rectangle present next to the school.
  1. Paste a passport size paper on a scrap of card and stick the card using the sticky tack.
  1. With each passing day, move your photo one space closer to the school.

How To:

  1. Show your child how to use letter stickers and create her name in a notebook.

  1. Outline the journal using beautiful ribbons or lace and glue.

3. Egg Carton School Bus:

  • Egg carton
  • Paint brush
  • Construction paper
  • Yellow watercolor or paint
  • Scissors and knife

  • Decorative household items, such as bottle caps, fabric pieces, and other items.

How To:

  1. Use a pair of scissors or a knife to cut the egg carton’s lid off. Use the box as your kid’s school bus.
  1. Show your child how to paint the container yellow using yellow paint and a paint brush. Let the paint dry.
  1. Help your child create related items, such as wheels of the bus, radio, driver, and other kids, using the yellow construction paper and pen. Paste the craft items on and inside the carton at appropriate locations.
  1. Use bottle cap as a steering wheel

How To:

  1. Cut the apple in half using a knife.

  1. Use a fine tip black pen and add stems and seeds to the apple print.
