3 Creative Egg Carton Crafts For Preschoolers And Kids

1. Egg Carton Pirate Ship:

What You Will Need:

  • An empty egg carton
  • Long thin sticks
  • Chart paper in two different colors
  • A pair of safety scissors
  • Pirate themed stickers
  • Little pirate toys (optional)
  • Paint and paintbrush
  • Print out of pirate themed pictures
  • Glue

How To:

  • Help your child cut out the egg carton to separate the lid. Only the base will be needed for this craft.
  • Ask your child to color the bottom of the egg carton on the outside. This will form the base of the pirate ship.
  • Ask him to color the inside of boat’s base.
  • Help your child cut out two big squares from the two different colored chart papers. These will form the sails of the pirate ship.
  • Ask your child to stick some fun pirate themed stickers on one side of each of these squares. Alternatively, you can print out some pirate themed pictures from the internet and help your child glue them to the chart paper.
  • Help your child attach the two sticks on the carton by placing them on the base.
  • Once done, help attach the chart paper on the sticks to make the sail.

  • An empty egg carton
  • Blue paint
  • Paint brush
  • Sea shells
  • Foam or chart paper

  • Ask your child to paint the inside of the carton in blue.
  • Help your child create little star fish, octopus and fish using the foam or chart papers.

  • One half of an empty egg carton
  • Grey paint
  • White paint

  • Help your child cut out one half of the egg carton. This will form the face of the bunny.
  • Let your child color the entire piece using grey. Make sure all sides are perfectly colored.
