1. Card Paper Giraffe:

You Will Need:

  • White drawing sheet
  • Yellow and brown card papers
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How To:

  • Help your child to draw an image of a giraffe on the yellow card paper using a pencil and cut it out using the scissors.
  • Paste the yellow giraffe image on the white drawing sheet with the help of glue.

2. Giraffe Silhouette:

You Will Need:

  • White drawing sheet
  • Giraffe template
  • Pencil
  • Black food color
  • Paint brush

How To:

  • Place the giraffe’s template on the white drawing sheet and help your kid to trace an image of a giraffe on the paper using a pencil.
  • Now, color the outlined giraffe’s picture using the black water color and paint brush.

3. Balloon Giraffe:

You Will Need:

  • One elongated yellow balloon
  • Seven medium-sized long and two small yellow balloons
  • Threads

How To:

  • Tell your child to blow up one long yellow balloon and tie its end using a thread such that it represents the neck of the giraffe.
  • Blow up seven medium-sized balloons and tie them in such a manner that they form the head, body, legs, and tail of the animal as you see in the image.

  • Clay of many colors, namely yellow, black, and white

  • Now, make small balls out of the black clay and stick them on the giraffe’s yellow body as black spots. Place one small black ball over the mouth of the animal as its nose.

  • Fabrics of different colors, namely yellow, pink, and red

  • Guide your kid to draw two identical shapes of a giraffe on two sheets of yellow fabric with the help of a pencil.
  • Stitch two, similar shapes of fabric giraffe using the needle and thread leaving a small gap.
  • Push some toy stuffing through the yellow fabric and sew the hole.
  • Now, draw a pair of giraffe’s ears on the yellow fabric, and cut them out using the scissors. Stitch the ears in place of the ears.

  • Place an entire sweet-lime below the banana as the body of the animal.
  • Cut out five vertical slices out of bananas and kiwis, and use four of them as the legs of the animal and one as its tail.

  • One measuring scale
