My daughter had mastered the art of crawling and is now attempting to walk. I knew this spelled trouble for me in more than one way. I had to keep a constant watch on her movement and make sure that she is not picking up pieces of waste and putting them in her mouth and nose. Then, there was one another tricky part; pinning her down to make her wear a diaper! While it may sound laughable, mothers who are in my situation would know what I am talking about.
Imagine, you are in a hurry to catch a train, and your baby simply refuses to lay there and allow you to strap the diaper. You are travelling in a car and have to change her diaper… put her on the seat, hold her with one hand, try to open the diaper, and the little lady simply wants to slip away from your grasp. I am sure all of you have also faced this.
My daughter is my second child. I faced this diaper problem with my first child, my son, too. During his time, had some unpleasant experiences:
- The diaper would get wet and heavy, making it difficult for him to walk, the diaper would get pulled down due to its weight.When my son would soil the diaper, it would begin leaking even before I rushed to clean him and the wetness increased the risk of infection and rashes.
