In recent years, we have come across some splendid and incredible photos of childbirth across the internet. But, some recent photos that made their way to the internet are unique and special. Why is that, you ask? It is because these particular photographs were taken by the mother herself.
The supermom, Lauren Chenault, had decided to photograph the entire process of her labor and childbirth when she got pregnant for the first time with Kailah. Of course, she was a little wary as she was not sure of how the entire thing would go. The nervousness does not come as a surprise since she was giving birth for the first time.
Despite having planned out the entire thing, Lauren could not take photographs at the time. Everything in the delivery room was pretty hectic, making it sort of impossible for her to click pictures. If you have given birth before, you would know how you can’t expect anything when you are going into labor. And, this surely held true for Lauren’s first childbirth.
However, sometime later, when she found out that she was expecting again, Lauren was relatively more confident that she could manage this time around. Although Lauren could have opted for a professional birth photographer so as to ensure perfect shots, she knew that the pictures would become all the more special if she captures them herself.
Here, have a look at some of the beautiful shots captured by Lauren:
1. The Super Mom Herself
Look at the beautiful, glowing face of the soon-to-be mom, isn’t it remarkable? The calmness on her face as she captures one of the most beautiful moments of her life is truly a sight. The grit and determination of a mother can surely make incredible things happen!
2. The Doctors At Work
As you prepare yourself for the “big” moment, so do your doctors. After all, they want to ensure the well-being of both you and your little one. And, the gynecologist’s expression here clearly depicts her dedication to make sure that everything goes smoothly in the delivery room.
3. The Arrival Of The Little Prince!
This is the moment that every woman waits for from the second that they hear the “good” news. All they dream about is the moment that they will first get to lay eyes on their little ones. And, also get to hold them in the arms. Sounds perfect, isn’t it?
4. The Best Sight Ever!
No sight can give you more joy than looking at an adorable tiny person sleeping, isn’t it? The incredible mom, Lauren, got to capture this serene shot in her lenses forever. And, surely, this click will bring a smile to her face, no matter what the situation is.
5. And, The Siblings Meet Each Other!
The second that you tell the elder ones about the addition of a new member to the family, they get super-excited. They look forward to the little one’s arrival just as much as the mom and dad do. Doesn’t the expression on Kailah’s face say it all?
We are sure that Lauren feels super proud of being able to capture some of the most incredible moments of her life by herself. In fact, when she posted some of these photos on one of her social media accounts, she mentioned in the caption that she had taken the photos herself. And, also joked about how she knows that she is insane for doing the same.
But, we beg to differ, Lauren. This is in no way insane. In fact, it is the most impressive thing ever!
