Although there is no need to worry, if the symptoms seem to alarm you, visit your gynecologist immediately.
Positive Pregnancy Test But No Symptoms – Why Does It Happen?
Women respond differently to the phases of pregnancy. No two women experience the same symptoms. Some of you may experience the symptoms of pregnancy early while others may face them later. Some of the common symptoms of pregnancy during the early stages include:
- Morning Sickness
- Breast Tenderness
Don’t be alarmed if you don’t experience these signs during pregnancy, there is no need to worry at all. In some cases, women don’t experience pregnancy symptoms until they reach the sixth or seventh week of pregnancy. Depending on when you took the pregnancy test, the pregnancy symptoms may differ.
The fertilized embryo gets implanted into the uterus between 6-12 days after ovulation. Until the embryo gets implanted, you will not experience the signs of pregnancy. Because the body is completely unaware of the hormonal changes, the slight changes in patterns may not be discernible. Thus, it is common to not experience the pregnancy symptoms in early stages of conceiving.

Early Pregnancy Detection Test:
Early pregnancy detection tests are the easiest methods to check the status of your pregnancy. You can take such tests at your place. Home pregnancy test strips in most medical stores can help you detect pregnancy. They help determine the quantity of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin) hormone in the female body. The HCG hormones remain diluted stage during the early stages of pregnancy. The test measures the percentage of HCG hormone present in urine and indicates the result.
If the strip indicates a positive result, you can be little sure about your pregnancy. But it is always advisable to book an appointment with your gynecologist and take further medical guidance. The doctor will ascertain the pregnancy through a series of blood and urine tests (1).

Regular prenatal visits to the doctor ensure that your baby develops correctly. Most of the time, you may experience the pregnancy symptoms later on, but your baby bump will start to show, and you may even feel your baby kicking and moving.
Watch Out For Signs Of Miscarriage:
If you experience any alarming signs during the early stages of pregnancy, and they stop abruptly, it could indicate a miscarriage. Seek immediate medical attention and follow your gynecologist’s instructions. If you experience intense abdominal pain or bleeding, you need to inform your doctor immediately (2).
With proper guidance from your gynecologist, you can be aware of the various complexities of pregnancy and keep yourself safe from miscarriage and other conditions.
