From the second they hear the good news, every expecting parent waits for the day they will hold their little one in the arms. And, celebrities are no different when it comes to this. Popular actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput were recently blessed with a little boy. And, the pictures are proof enough of the euphoria these parents must be feeling. Both look happier than ever and paint a perfect family picture with both their babies – the elder daughter Misha and the newborn – captured in the lens.
The entire media frenzy around the new arrival comes as no surprise. Celebs and stars are always in the limelight and the media never seem to get enough of them. In fact, their kids are not spared either! The web world is full of stories and news on how adorable and endearing a particular celeb kid is (cue: Taimur Ali Khan). While most famous personalities try to keep their little ones protected from the shutterbugs, one thing that always brings them in the spotlight is the name.
Do you remember the public attention that “Taimur” and “AbRam” gathered for their names? In fact, the creativity behind “Misha”, derived from the names of both Shahid and Mira, was much in news too. Even before we could get over the uniqueness and beauty of these names, the new talk of the town has arrived. There had been a wide amount of speculation around what name Shahid and Mira would choose for their tiny angel, this time around.

Fortunately, the Haider actor did not make us wait for too long. Shahid took to Twitter to announce the name that the blessed parents have chosen for their tiny bundle of happiness. Mira and Shahid have decided to name their baby boy – hold your breath – Zain Kapoor! This name finds its roots in the Arabic word that signifies “beauty” and “grace”. Imagine, the name itself is suggestive of how their cute angel is beyond beautiful. And, yes, he summed it up just right when he talked about feeling complete. After all, isn’t this how every parent feels after their munchkin enters their world?

And, the celebrations did not stop here. Like an amazingly loving husband, Shahid decided to surprise his wife with the quirkiest of cakes. Though the choice of cake is pretty unusual, it is a perfect pick for the new mother. After all, a new mommy definitely deserves a laugh or two after a successful labor and delivery, isn’t it? Did you notice the caption? Yes, you guessed it right! Not only was this cake a gesture to celebrate the arrival of junior Kapoor, it was also to honor the second-time mommy, Mira, on her birthday. Good going, Mr. Kapoor (husband goals)! A new mom definitely deserves every bit of this pampering. After all, childbirth is no child’s play, right?
Mira was admitted on Wednesday in the famous Hinduja Hospital of Mumbai. Neelima Azim and Ishaan Khatter, who are Shahid’s mother and brother respectively, were spotted near the hospital. Even mother-in-law, Bela Rajput, had come to the hospital. Baby Misha was not far behind as she came to visit her mother and baby brother in the hospital. The incessant support from every family member reminds us of how celebrities are so much like us at the end of the day.
In fact, Shahid’s mother Neelima had wonderful words to say when asked earlier about her daughter-in-law. She described how Mira has been brave, wonderful, and strong through the entire course of pregnancy.
