This is the perfect time to buy and set up your little one’s crib. Yes, he/she may not get to sleep in it for a while, but getting it done beforehand can take a load off your chest. If you are planning to have a separate toy room for your munchkin, you can get all the last-minute decorations and painting done too.

2. Build A Beautiful Nest For All Of You

You may have a sudden urge to set up the home for your little one and clean it up. You may feel like building a cozy little nest, so take advantage of that instinct. After all, it is nice to come back from the hospital to a tidy and clean home.

3. Clean Your Baby’s Clothes

If you have bought clothes for your little one, you may want to wash it, fold it, and arrange it in the wardrobe. You can, of course, take help from someone to do that. The little one’s skin is very delicate, so dressing him/her up in clean clothes can avoid unnecessary skin irritation. You may be too exhausted to do this once you are back from the hospital, so take care of it now itself.

4. Keep The Hospital Bag Ready

Ladies, keep your hospital bag ready so that you have it handy whenever you need it. Your mind will be so much more at ease once it is done since this is such an important one. And, the best part is that you can always add or remove anything at any point in time if needed.

5. The Maternity Photo Shoot

If you have not already taken your maternity pictures, what have you been waiting for? But, guess what? You still have plenty of time to go set up the photo shoot appointment, so go for it. Also, if you don’t want any elaborate process, you can always call your friends to help you and your partner with some candid maternity pictures.

6. Baby Shower Time

Have you already had a baby shower? If not, now is a good time to have it. Or, you may not know about it but your friends are already planning one for you (spoiler alert, apologies!). But, baby showers can be a lot of fun. Not only do you get to spend time with your friends and relatives, but you also get to celebrate one of the happiest phases of your life.

7. Set Up The Maternity Leave With Your Boss

You may still have many doubts and concerns with respect to childbirth. It is natural so don’t hesitate. Just reach out to your doctor and clarify any doubts that you have to put your mind at ease.
