Ashley Cairns is the CEO of A Change for Better (ACFB) and a mental health counsellor working in New Zealand. Originally from New York, Ashley has worked professionally in the US, Canada, and New Zealand, helping those suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Ashley holds professional memberships in the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Australia & New Zealand Mental Health Association (ANZMH). She is a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), and an inducted member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Ashley knows what clients and other professionals need to succeed.
As the CEO of ACFB, Ashley has expanded her passion for mental health into the technology field by creating a user-friendly, internet-based platform for those just exploring their options, for clients, and for professionals – all in one place.
