Dr. Deepshikha (Deepa) Thakur is the Founder and Lead Clinician for Autism in Spire Bushey Hospital. She has over 22 years of experience in pediatrics and holds expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially in girls, teenagers, and complex autism. In addition, she holds experience in assessing and managing ADHD, developmental delay, dyspraxia, neuro disability, and developmental pediatrics. Deepa holds leadership positions for autism in NHS, SEND, and as Designated Medical Officer in Hertfordshire Community, and board member for Learning Disability Board, East of England ASD, and NHS England.
Deepa was a chief investigator in a research trial of the KASPAR robot for Autism Spectrum. She was a part of national and international conferences. Her tremendous research made her co-author for the Trainees Handbook’s Autism chapter. She also takes up private assessments for autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other conditions in London, Hertfordshire, and other UK counties.
