Dr. Jayashree Jayakrishnan

Dr. Jayashree J has over 10 years of experience and specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant from IBLCE and a certified DONA (International Doula of North America). A believer in natural birth, she has set up waterbirth facilities in Chennai hospitals, in association with Waterbirth International founder Barbara Harper. She did her graduation in Physiotherapy, Childbirth, and Mothercare.Dr. Jayashree J is trained in the Mongan Method of Hypno Birth and certified as Hypno Birth Practitioner by HypnoBirthing Institute. Her research article on The Effect of Oxytocin during Labor, LATCH Scores, Breastfeeding Self Efficacy and Early Breastfeeding Rates in South India was published in International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA) Canada.
