Yulia Brockdorf graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in Baccalaureate of Science in Dietetics and Food & Nutrition. Her interest in science, physiology, and orthomolecular medicine inspired her to explore the field of nutrition. She also has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.Yulia completed the Interprofessional Fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine with the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. In 2016, she was awarded the Excellence in Practice for Individuals with Addiction Award from the Behavioral Health Nutrition (BHN) Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Yulia is an active member of the BHN practice group and previously served as a board member and webinar coordinator. Currently, she serves as Chairperson of the Oregon Board of Licensed Dietitians.Her expertise includes an integrative and functional approach to diabetes management and psychotherapy, behavioral and mental health dietetics and psychotherapy, along with Attachment-Focused EMDR for the treatment of trauma.
