Dr. Ahmar Shah works as a gynecologist at Yeovil District Hospital in Somerset UK, where he is a clinical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology, leading the colposcopy service. He graduated in medicine from the University of Karachi and got trained in obstetrics and gynecology in the UK (Eastern Deanery - Cambridge). He has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London since 2004.In addition to being an accredited laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeon, Dr. Shah has a degree in Medical Law & Ethics. He lectures at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Bristol and was a college tutor for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from 2013 to 2016. He has 14 years of working experience and is a two-time recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award from Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
