Lisa Holloway is a nurse practitioner specializing in women's health care and is a certified childbirth educator. She trained at the prestigious Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Her undergraduate studies were also at Vanderbilt University in Human & Organizational Development with focus on Health & Human Services. 

Lisa became a certified Childbirth Educator in 2005 and has since been helping expectant couples prepare for birth and early parenting. Her work experience includes serving as the sole practitioner at a non-profit reproductive health clinic focused on serving low income and uninsured patients and working as a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit at Georgetown University Hospital.
