Vinita Agrawal is an accomplished poet hailing from Indore, India. She has garnered significant recognition for her poetic endeavors, including winning the prestigious Proverse prize in Hong Kong in 2021 for her collection of poems titled "Twilight Language." Vinita has been the recipient of several awards, such as the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize in 2018 and the Gayatri GaMarsh Memorial Award for Literary Excellence in the USA in 2015, and had a special mention in the Hawkers Prize in 2019. Vinita is involved in co-editing the Yearbook series of Indian Poetry in English, and editing two anthologies on climate change, "Open Your Eyes" in 2020 and "Count Every Breath" in 2023, both published by Hawakal. Her work has been widely published and anthologized, earning her a place among the 20 poets featured in the documentary "Deepest Uprising," which explores Asian poets and was produced in Taiwan. Vinita is a member of the advisory board of the Tagore Literary Prize, co-chair for CoE - a Global Council for Excellence for Environment and Sustainability, and also holds a position on the advisory board of G100 World Peace.
