One of the first and most important decisions that parents have to make regarding their baby is their name. Most parents have a list of names shortlisted beforehand and choose a name once their baby is born. There are several factors to consider when it comes to naming your child. Is it a unique name? Is it too common? Is it too unique? Is it trendy? Will they like it when they grow up? You would have probably considered these factors and discussed them with your partner before deciding on a moniker.
It might not be the easiest task in the world because a name is important. It is one’s identity. It’s how people know you, acknowledge you, and refer to you. You might think, “hey, what’s in a name?” but many people believe that your name can bring you luck, fortune, and success. In India, some people consult numerologists to find out what they should name their baby to positively affect the baby’s life because they believe that names can have positive and negative effects.
While giving your baby a moniker, you have to consider how it will impact their future. Will it bring them success in their career? Recruiters say that while the skills possessed by a candidate that is hired for a job is the primary factor, names also play a role in recruiting them.
So, if you think that a name has nothing to do with how much money your child will make in the future, you could be wrong. You don’t want to be the reason for your child’s low bank balance, and giving them the wrong moniker could lead to that. We’re only kidding!

Her family built a fortune on tobacco, and she became the heir, but your daughter might build her empire without your fortune. One can only hope, huh?
