Amidst the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown, social distancing and self-quarantine have become our new normal. Empty streets, fresh air, and some quality family time are probably some of the few things that we can be thankful for at such a devastating time. With kids being homeschooled and elders working from home, parents are looking for new ways to engage and spend time with their little munchkins. And our B-town parents are no different. Let’s take a look at how Bollywood parents are dealing with self-quarantine:
Mira Rajput
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are proud parents to two kids, Misha and Zain Kapoor. The usually private parents recently gave a glimpse of how they are coping with the current situation. Mira took to Instagram and posted on her Instagram stories how she and her little angel Misha are spending time with each other. In the story, we can see Misha learning some new English words in her notebook. The proud mom captioned the pic as ” Yeahhh we can do this #coolmomchronicles”. It was followed by another story which read “And then they also peeled potatoes” with a sticker that says “Staying home”. Looks like the mom and daughter are making the most of this time.
Tahira Kashyap
If you are looking for cool ways to spend time with your kids, Ayushmann and Tahira are here to give you some major inspo. The couple took to their respective Instagram handles to share how they are spending the quarantine time with their kids. Tahira posted a picture on her Instagram with four paintings painted by her, Ayushmann, and their two kids. In her post, she also urged all parents to stay safe and not encourage group classes for their kids. The Khurana couple sure knows how to be responsible parents and citizens.
Saif Ali Khan
The Pataudi family is giving us major father-son goals in their latest post. Mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan recently shared a picture in her Instagram handle where the two boys can be seen wearing matching outfits and doing some planting at home. Both of them seem to be engrossed in their task at hand all the while looking adorable in white kurta pajamas. The actress captioned the pic as “My boys doing their bit! Together, let’s make the world a better place for us all. Play your part… #StayHome #StaySafe #JantaCurfew”.
Twinkle Khanna
Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs. Funnybones shared a glimpse of the mother-daughter duo spending some quality time reading books. The monochrome pic was posted with a wonderful caption. In her post, Twinkle says there is no greater joy than lying next to her daughter, engrossed in their respective books but still together.
In another video shared by the actor turned writer, little Nitara can be seen trying to fetch her slippers which she accidentally threw into the lighting duct.
Shilpa Shetty
The actress recently shared videos of how she is keeping her son Viaan occupied amidst the pandemic. In her post, Shilpa also explains how to do a tie and dye activity with your kid at home so that they don’t end up getting bored. In another post, the fitness enthusiast shared another video where her Monday turned out to be a “Sonday” when her son joined her for some workout.

Aayush Sharma
Aayush Sharma is also among the list of celebrities who took to their Instagram handles to spread awareness about COVID-19. Sharing adorable pictures with his tiny tots, the young dad urged everyone to stay at home and stay safe by spending quality time with their families.
Salman Khan
Just like her husband Aayush, even Arpita Khan Sharma took to her Instagram to share stories of her son spending quality time with his uncle Salman Khan. Salman Khan decided to take his nephew out for a stroll in the lap of nature in his farm during their quarantine time.
Ekta Kapoor
Ekta Kapoor also posted a quarantine pic with her son Ravie Kapoor. The woman behind most of the Hindi TV serials and the creative head of Balaji Telefilms Limited previously revealed in one of her posts that she is an outdoorsy person but is practicing self-isolation to stay safe. In her recently shared post, Ekta can be seen hugging her little munchkin from behind and wrote: ” True love is beyond logic.”
We hope that with celebrities posting pics about self-quarantine and staying safe, more people will follow suit and finally begin to understand the gravity of the situation.
