Easter is just a few days away, and families are preparing for the festival the best way they can. With the pandemic being a prominent part of our lives, it’s hard to go all out with the celebrations and forget about the deadly virus. However, there is no need to stop yourself from having a good time with family and close friends. Easter is a festival celebrated by Christians to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It is also called Pasha or Resurrection Sunday and is described as a celebration of death’s triumph and new life. Christians have two major festivals, one is Christmas, and the other one is Easter.
Christmas is universally celebrated. People worldwide put up Christmas trees, cribs, and decorations to bring in the festivities. However, the zest and excitement for Easter are not as big, possibly because of the lack of traditional decorations associated with the festival. But we are here to tell you that you can make Easter a special occasion too. You don’t have to stop yourself from decorating your house and make it look Easter-ready. 1. The Colored Eggs Wreath

Easter is well-known for Easter eggs. Place several Easter eggs together so that they form a circle. You can choose to make it thick or thin, depending on your preference. Add some glue and stick these eggs together so that they don’t roll away. Place this circle of eggs on a base surface like a cardboard cutout or a thick jute base. Now you can use twines or other strong strings to secure the ring of eggs onto the base, and voila, you have an egg wreath to put up on your door. You can paint the eggs any color you’d like and even add in sprinkles of glitter or sequins if you want.
2. No Base Egg Wreath

The no-base egg wreath is similar to the one above, but like the name suggests, this one lacks a base. It is made solely with eggs and has to be secured tightly with glue. It’s best to make this wreath thick because a thinner one would probably not be strong enough to hang on your front door. You can use a ribbon to tie the wreath together and put it on your door, as shown in the picture.
3. The Flower Nest

If you don’t want to make your wreath using only eggs, here’s a good option for you. Take a traditional brown wreath and add flowers and leaves to decorate it. You can either stick to one color of flowers or mix it up as per your choice. To give it a cute look of Easter, add a small nest at the bottom end of the circle and mimic a nest of eggs. It adds a little twist to your plain wreath and makes it look adorable.
4. The Bunny Wreath

If you want to take it to the next level of cuteness, add a bunny to your wreath. Of course, we don’t mean a live bunny but a toy one that looks very much real. Just like you made a sweet little nest with eggs on your wreath, you could also make a nest with eggs and a bunny. How cute would that look, huh!
5. The Kids Wreath

While you’re making these adorable wreaths, you don’t want your kids to feel left out. Therefore, let them make their wreaths with simple craft paper, glue, and craft scissors. They could paint it and add the elements of Easter that they like on the wreath. They could hang it on their room door and spice up the Easter decorations in the house.
