5. Mushroom Pizza

Bake a mushroom pizza at home to give your kids a healthy treat.

Ingredients:

Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Onion – ¼ cup

Mushroom – 16 ounces

Capsicum – ¼ cup

Oregano – ½ teaspoon

Corn flour – ¼ cup

Pizza dough

Salt

Directions:

Prepare the dough and add extra virgin olive oil to a frying pan. Add onion, capsicum, and mushroom and stir frequently over medium flame for about 7 minutes. Add corn flour and cook for a few more minutes. Transfer the toppings onto the pizza dough and sprinkle some oregano. Bake until the crust is golden brown.

You can use the leftover dosa batter to prepare this Indianised version of pizza.

Ingredients:

Dosa batter – 1 cup

Pizza sauce – 6 tablespoons

Oil – 1 ½ teaspoon

Onion (thinly sliced) – ½ cup

Capsicum – ½ cup

Grated mozzarella cheese – ½ cup

Directions: 

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium flame and grease with cooking oil. Pour a big spoonful of dosa batter and let it cook on both sides. Once cooked, move it to a plate. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over it. Now top it with thin slices of onion and capsicum and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.

A rich and creamy sauce, melted mozzarella, and artichoke hearts make this a true indulgent!

Ingredients:

Cooking oil – 1 tablespoon

Spinach (chopped) – ¼ cup

Butter- 1 tablespoon

Garlic – 1 clove

Cream cheese – 4 oz

Milk – ½ cup

Artichoke hearts (chopped) – ½ cup

Shredded mozzarella – 1 cup

Directions: 

Prepare the sauce by adding minced garlic in a pan with butter. Saute for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add milk, cream cheese, and salt to the mixture. Whisk and stir for 3 to 5 minutes until it forms a thick sauce. Throw in the spinach and cook for a few minutes before you set aside. Spread the creamy sauce with spinach over the pizza dough. Sprinkle the artichoke hearts over the sauce. Top it with shredded mozzarella and bake the pizza in the oven until the top is golden brown.

Directions: 

In a pan, add butter and sliced apple pieces with a pinch of cinnamon powder. Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes. Now lay the pizza and arrange the apple slices along with the sauce. Top it with some grated cheese and bake until the pizza is ready.

Ingredients:

Garlic – ½ cup

Onion – ¼ cup

Tomato puree – 1 can

Pasta and macaroni mix (cooked according to package instructions) – 8 ounces

Grated mozzarella cheese – ½ cup

Salt

Pizza bread

Directions:

Saute the garlic and onion in a non-stick frying pan for 2 minutes. Now add in the capsicum and continue cooking. Mix the tomato puree into the pan and bring it to a boil. Throw in the pasta and macaroni mix and add salt to taste. Once cooked, move the pasta to the pizza bread and finish with some grated cheese on top. Bake the pizza in an oven for 10 minutes.
