Mother nature shows who is in charge with this next story! Shayla Taylor was in the hospital, hoping to go through an easy birth. But that was not to be. A tornado, with winds speed of about 300 kilometers per hour, hit Taylor’s town. But the doctors and nurses were committed to helping this child take birth. The laboring mother was rushed to a windowless room while her husband and four-year-old son took shelter in the lower floors. As the storm tore through the room, the medics covered the mother with sheets and their bodies. Thankfully, Shayla gave birth to a healthy baby boy via C-section.

Tired and hungry, she took refuge in meth, beer, and some apples to survive. She held on for three days in the wilderness. Finally, out of desperation, she started a fire to signal for help. The fire expanded rapidly and engulfed an acre or more of the forest. But that did the job as mother and daughter duo was finally rescued by the US Forest Service.

Soon, a bar owner saw their plight and offered to give them a ride in his sturdier vehicle. As they made their way ahead, the water level moved even higher.
