Baby items often require a significant amount of storage space. To maintain an organized environment without the need to acquire additional containers, consider repurposing an empty paper wipe box. This versatile box can conveniently store diapers, baby clothing, a disposable table cover, and other essential items. As an added bonus, you can easily attach a pack of wet wipes to the top of the cover using a simple hair tie. It’s a clever solution, isn’t it?

2. Layer The Bedding Of Your Baby’s Crib

This one is a game changer! Just alternate between layering sheets and waterproof pads. That way if your baby has a blowout at night or throws up, you can just remove the sheet and waterproof pad at the top and you have a clean crib. How easy is that! And you’ll barely lose any sleep at all.

3. Stick The Toys In The Dishwasher

We know this sounds strange but this one really is a time saver. Keeping your home well organized and clean is a herculean task when you have a little human who thinks littering the floor with toys makes great decorations. But sanitizing the toys is taxing, and so is boiling toys of different shapes and sizes. If there’s one thing parents are short on, it’s time. But there is a simple solution. Just unload the toys into the dishwasher. This will ensure that all the bacteria and germs are washed away and that they are clean for your child to play with again.

4. Put Stickers On Medicine Bottles To Keep Track Of Your Baby’s Dosage

A sick child is every parent’s worst nightmare. Not only are they paranoid and frustrated due to how helpless they feel, but getting your baby to take the medicine they require can be daunting. So what do you do? One way to keep track of your baby’s medicine consumption is to write down the planned dosage on the bottle or box. Everytime your baby takes a dose, simply cross it out. This will help you keep track of how much medicine your baby has consumed. Problem solved!

5. Use An Empty Carton As A Holder For Your Child’s Paints

Having an artistic child is wonderful until you see the amount of cleaning up you need to do once they’ve lost interest in their latest project. We’re sure you don’t want to let the mess hinder their creativity so here’s a hack that will ensure that your little one can go on painting without worrying about the spills. Take an empty carton or cup holder and use it to place cups of water, brushes and your favorite sets of paints and colors. Then just throw it away when it’s time to clean up. No more stains on tablecloths and no more excuses to not make fun art!

6. Use An Imaginary Bank Account To Manage Your Child’s Screen Time

This hack is golden! Just explain to your kids that this bank uses time instead of actual money. Your children earn screen time by getting good grades, doing their chores and homework and playing outdoors. They can then use the time they’ve earned to watch something online if they so please. You can also tell them that one portion of this screen time must be spent on watching an educational video about a topic they like. It could be a bracelet making video or a documentary on penguins. But only half of their screen time goes towards entertainment. This will cut short the amount of time they spend on screen drastically.

Balancing life, work and parenthood is hard. And sometimes, you need a little help to juggle everything. We hope these hacks help you do just that.
