Actress Rani Mukherjee and her filmmaker husband Aditya Chopra were blessed with a baby girl Adira last year on December 9. The very private couple made the official announcement of Adira’s arrival three months later.
The announcement was made in style with gifts sent to the couple’s friends in the film industry. The gifts contained small white crib, pink and white festoons, a pink soft teddy, and two jars of cookies. The pink and white flowers give the final touches. You can’t simply miss the card placed in front of the crib with Adira’s name on it. How cute!
Jackie Shroff’s wife Ayesha Shroff posted the picture of the crib on Instagram and wrote, “Just received the cutest birth announcement from Rani and Adi Chopra!!!! Welcome baby Adira!!! Loads of love and blessings!”
Rani Mukherjee got secretly married to Aditya Chopra in April 2014, in Italy in the presence of select friends. The news of Rani’s pregnancy came out when Preity Zinta broke it at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali party.
It was not just Ayesha Shroff but also Uday Chopra who broke the news on social networking site about Rani’s daughter.
Rani’s long time friend and film-maker Karan Johar also took to Twitter and declared how happy he was to become an uncle to the beautiful baby girl. He wrote, “Am an uncle to a beautiful baby girl today!!!!! @udaychopra !!! Rani and Adi had a baby girl!!”
