Motherhood is blissful. Every mother values the time of her kids growing up. Right from their first words, first step, and every other first they witness in their kids’ lives, mothers cherish these memories that last a lifetime. Even after years have passed, these are a few memories that bring mothers immense joy. They are filled with smiles and warmth just thinking about the time the kids grew up, step by step. They feel proud and happy, all at the same time. One such proud mother is Gurdip Punjj, fondly known as Dr. Juhi from the Hindi television drama Sanjivani. During this lockdown period, she is cherishing every minute of her time with her two little children, Meher and Mahir, and expresses how every cloud has a silver lining.

Gurdip Punjj is a popular Indian television actress who is known for her roles in the television dramas Sanjivani and Kasamh Se. Her acting roles are not limited to the small screen. She has also acted in a few Bollywood films like Rowdy Rathore and Student Of The Year 2. On the sets of Sanjivani, the actress met the love of her life, Arjun J Punjj. They tied the knot in 2008 and are blessed with two precious children, Meher and Mahir.

While everyone is trying to do the best they can to keep their spirits high during this quarantine, Gurdip Punjj and her children seem to be making the best of the situation. On June 4th, 2020, Gurdip shared a picture of her children on Instagram with some delicious looking pancakes. In the caption she wrote, “Every cloud has a silver lining, here I have something to thank #corona2020 it’s definitely made my kids independent now they can fix their own pancakes for breakfast…. #covid19 #atmanirbar ….#lookatthepositiveineverything #proudmother #talentedkids 😘😘#mummaonabreak”.

Gurdip is known to share snippets of her family life on her social media account. A couple of months ago, the actress shared a video where her daughter and she are cooking a burrito bowl together. She shared the recipe with her fans and they were delighted. Just like every proud mother, Gurdip takes every chance she gets to post pictures with her little children, filling her Instagram feed with several cute and heartwarming posts. In one picture she posted, her son is seen holding a “thank you” sign, and she thanks all the people fighting against the virus in her caption.

On April 8th, Gurdip Punjj and her husband put up a series of videos on Instagram where they create a make-believe restaurant setting for their kids and entertain them to give them a cute and fun experience. They serve the kids with a welcome drink, chips, cutlets, pasta, and candy for dessert. Talk about a fun experience! The kids along with the parents seem to be having a good time and it was amazing to see how they try to engage in different activities to keep themselves busy during the quarantine.

The one great thing that this lockdown has brought about is the creativity with which every family is keeping themselves busy. Some of them learn new recipes, other new dance routines while some other paint. It truly is a wonder to see families bonding and making the best of a difficult situation.
