Having a baby changes your life forever. The added responsibility, sleepless nights, and dirty diapers become a part of your life, and there is no backing out. Babies require undivided attention, and when you’re new parents, it takes a while for you to get used to making a baby a part of your lives.
Getting used to having a baby around means that you have to judiciously plan your shower time, relaxing time (if you’re lucky), and special time to get between the sheets. It does not come easy, but you slowly adapt to the new life. But what about when you have baby number two within the first two years of your first child? It becomes twice as challenging because your first munchkin is still a baby who needs all your love and care. 1. Set The Tone For The Day

The way you start your day is important because it sets the tone for the rest of the day. Try to plan what needs to be done in order of priority so you won’t be rushing through the day from the time you wake up. It also helps if you wake up well before your babies do so you have time to get your work done. You can work out, shower, eat, and drink your morning coffee or tea in peace without having an infant in your arms.
2. Follow A Routine

Kids do not have an accurate perception of time. Therefore, it is up to you to bring in a schedule in their life. Set up a routine that works for you and ensure that they stick to it. If you go according to their moods, you will feel like you never have enough time.
3. Involve Your Partner

Parenting is a combined responsibility. It is not up to you to shoulder every responsibility that there is when it comes to your children. You and your partner can take turns with different tasks. Dividing and conquering is the best way to handle dealing with two babies. You could do the laundry while your partner changes their diapers. Or you could bathe them while your partner restocks baby essentials.

It’s quite natural for parents to coddle their babies, especially when they are new parents. Even if you don’t feel like putting your infant down, it needs to be done for a while. Don’t forget that your older one is a baby too and needs your attention.
