Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Focusing On Family Time While Quarantining In L.A.

If 2020 has taught us one thing, it’s to truly cherish our family and loved ones. It has been a few months since the novel coronavirus has affected almost all parts of the globe leaving many of us distraught. And while some would argue that it has been the worst thing to ever happen to our generation, there are many others who consider it a blessing in disguise. With the government imposed lockdown and people working from home, families are getting to spend more time with their children and loved ones. Something that we have been struggling to make time for, for so long.

And just like the rest of us, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been taking their quarantine seriously by prioritizing family over everything else. According to a leading magazine, the couple seems to be enjoying their quarantine time at their home in Los Angeles with their little bundle of joy, Archie Mountbatten Windsor. Their move to Los Angeles happened shortly after the couple decided to relocate to Canada following their decision to step down as senior royals. From the looks of it, the couple seems to be adjusting quite well to this change. Close sources to Meghan and Harry reveal that when they are not at home, the couple has been doing volunteer work by delivering healthy food to ill and immunocompromised individuals on behalf of the nonprofit organization, Project Angel Food.

According to the organization’s executive director Richard Ayoub, the couple is settling into the city of Los Angeles through their shared interest in charity and philanthropic work. Reportedly, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have also been participating in Zoom calls with people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Recently one such call of Meghan with the Hubb Community Kitchen was made public, which is a project that she has passionately lent her support to.

Celebrations amidst the coronavirus pandemic are usually kept extremely low key since it’s hard to buy a birthday cake or invite people over. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t turn it to good account, especially when it’s your little one’s first birthday. Prince Harry and Meghan’s son Archie recently rang in his first birthday earlier in May, and just like most parents, the couple planned a memorable birthday for their 1-year-old in quarantine. According to a source, the Duchess baked a strawberry and cream cake for little Archie while daddy Harry took care of the decorations and balloons. It indeed was a special occasion for the family who evidently did the best of their capacity all the while staying at home and following lockdown rules. The small celebration was made even more special with the attendance of their pets, a beagle, and a black lab that they adopted back in 2018. The festivities were also graced by godparents and close family and friends via Zoom meetings.

The couple has been connecting with their families via Face Time and according to a leading news daily, they recently Face Timed with Queen Elizabeth to wish her on her birthday earlier this year. Of course, Archie also joined in.

Just like the rest of us, the couple seems to be doing well managing work and family life during such stressful times. We hope we get to see more of the couple engaging in philanthropic work in the coming months.
