Here's Why Prince George Missed Coming To India

We are a little hooked by a ‘promise’ the Duchess of Cambridge made to us.

Prince William and Princess Kate charmed our people on their recent visit to India. But what we missed was getting a glimpse of the royal couple’s lovely kids.

As Kate watched the girls dance at a countryside event organized in India, she missed her children Prince George (2) and Princess Charlotte, who will soon turn one the coming month. Kate, who was dressed in a pink floral outfit embroidered in black and had a neat hair-do made into a bun, confessed that seeing the young girls in the village made her miss her little girl.

The couple was at the Pan Bari village in Kaziranga National Park. As William spoke to the elders in the village, they asked him why the royal couple hadn’t brought their adorable kids along with them.

Apparently Kate had replied, “Because George is too naughty. He would be running all over the place. The next time we come we will definitely bring them.”

So yes, we are counting the days to that promise!

This was the first time when Kate was away from her kids for a long period. Having said that Prince George had also been hailed as Britain’s “youngest and highest-profile envoy to the Commonwealth,” when he travelled along with his royal parents to New Zealand and Australia in 2014, with his great granny’s permission.

The heirs to the British Crown usually travel separately as a precautionary measure to protect the future of the monarchy. But his trip was an exception that year when Baby Cambridge flew out of the warmth of Kensington Palace. While the world went gaga over the little boy making news around the world with his visit, he surely did his part as an emissary for his country and his great-granny.
