For 10-year-old Ritwik, his mum is the ultimate superwoman. Ritwik beams with pride every time he talks about his mum. Shivani is a manager at an advertising firm, who started working after having a baby. After joining her company as a copywriter, she has managed to reach the top of the ladder as a working mum. Though she admits that some days are extremely exhausting, she is glad that her 10-year-old understands and supports her, which makes it so much easier. Ritwik says, “I’m proud of my mum, and she is a role model to me. I wish to be as hardworking and dedicated as her when I grow up.” Now that’s how you set an example.

Renuka is a proud mom of her 9-year-old son, Nirav. She says, “When I knew that my child was autistic, I was terrified of what he would have to deal with more than anything. I wanted him to lead a normal life and wished the same for me.” She continues, “My son has taught me to enjoy my life to the fullest and face every challenge with a smile. I have never seen him get upset over tiny things.” Renuka says that Nirav is the best thing to have happened in her life and she now cherishes her life more than anything. She continues, “We never take a moment for granted and enjoy every opportunity we get.”

Freelance writer, Radhika has been a single mum for 7 years now to her 15-year-old teenage daughter. “I have started out doing small part-time jobs and when I felt like she had become much more independent, I opted for a full-time job with good pay. Now I do freelance work because this way I get to spend more time with my daughter and I feel this is the time she needs me the most.”, says Radhika. The 41-year-old mum says that she is closest to her daughter and they share a very friendly bond. Her daughter has recently introduced her to Netflix and they now spend their weekends watching TV shows and movies.

Smitha has always had a passion for baking and loved baking cakes and muffins for her son since he was little. Her son was the one who suggested that she start an online business since she was getting bored at home. Her dream of becoming a baker finally happened when Sumeet helped her create an online website and kickstart her baking business by lending a helping hand both as a business advisor and in baking. The mother-son duo now dreams of setting up their own bakery. Sumeet is also planning to pursue a professional course in baking.
