Kapil shared the news with his fans on Twitter. He tweeted that they are blessed with a baby boy, and both the mother and baby are doing well. The comedian thanked everyone for their love, blessings, and prayers. As soon as the news broke out, wishes came pouring in from fans congratulating the couple and wishing them good health.

The Indian standup comedian announced that they are all set to welcome a new member into their family of three last week. He confirmed the news on Twitter and also expressed his excitement on The Kapil Sharma Show. The show host revealed to his audience that the show would go off the air because he needs to stay home to take care of his wife and second baby as a response to a fan’s question about the show.
Earlier in January 2025, Kapil Sharma tweeted a rhetorical question that asked, what do you call good news in English, to which famous author and columnist Chetan Bhagat replied, saying, how do you say congratulations in Hindi? Most people assumed that this tweet was about Kapil announcing his wife’s second pregnancy to the world. However, it turned out to be about the comedian’s entry into a web series.

In 2019, the couple Ginni Chatrath and Kapil Sharma became parents for the first time to Aranya Sharma. She was born on December 1st, 2019. Kapil shared pictures of her daughter’s first birthday on Instagram, and they are nothing short of adorable. On September 27th, 2025, the proud father shared a photo of his daughter on Instagram, wishing her a happy daughter’s day. His caption was short and sweet. He wrote, “Thank you for making our life more beautiful my laado”, while sharing a picture of the two of them. The little munchkin looks adorable sitting on her doting father’s lap while he kisses her on her head.

Being parents to a one-year-old is an all-time job. In an interview, Kapil revealed that he spends his time eating and playing with the baby (his daughter). He said that when the lockdown began, he had told his wife to consider it a blessing in disguise because they can dedicate time to working out. However, with a baby at home, it’s nearly impossible. He said that all he does all day is play with his daughter and eat food.
