Kareena Kapoor Gives A Badass Comeback To Trolls Who Call Her A “Careless Mother”

Trust Kareena Kapoor to know how to shut up trolls with a bit of a style. With the immense popularity of social media, the interactions between celebrities and their fans are limitless. Unfortunately, not every interaction is as courteous and polite as one would hope.

Since most celebrities actively use platforms such as Instagram for personal and promotional purposes, they have become a place where they talk to and get feedback from the viewers and followers. These days, they don’t have to wait until the day of the release to gauge the public response and interest. Like all things, there is a downside to this. Having a public profile makes it difficult for them to keep their private lives away from the public. Which means that every outfit they wear, everything that they do, from what they say to how they live is under public scrutiny. Some of us take advantage of this and take the liberty to comment on their lives. Some take their criticisms too far.

When this happens, it takes a bold person to come back and tell the “shamers” and critics to mind their own business. Like every parent, actors have families and children that they feel protective of. Nobody wants to be called out as a “bad mom” on social media. Kareena Kapoor had the perfect response to being described as a “careless mother”.

Kareena Kapoor Khan became a mother when she welcomed her firstborn with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, a few years ago. She remained active right before and after her pregnancy, which raised some eyebrows. Even after her son, Taimur Ali Khan, was born, she continued to work on projects such as Good Newwz, and Lal Singh Chaddha.

Actor, called with love as Bebo, has a radio chat show on Ishq 104.8 FM. It is called What Women Want, with a focus on bringing the female narratives to the limelight. In a recent episode with her sister-in-law, actor, Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, they spoke about parenting and how it works differently for everyone. She said, “…when you are a mom with kids, then wrestling is inevitably in your home. But without these little monsters, life wouldn’t be the same.”

She also went on to mock the mom stereotypes in Bollywood. The two actors discussed their similar but different households and the parenting tips that they learned from their parents. This was right before Kapoor addressed the issue that their children are growing up in the digital age, “where they are being hounded by the paparazzi.”

“It’s worrying,” Soha Ali Khan said. They went on to discuss the different hats that women wear and the role that a nurturing presence can play in a child’s life. Do not shame those who hire nannies to take care of children. Point made. All the while, acknowledging that not everyone can afford external help. But still, it is rude to shame those who do for their parenting methods.

Taimur Ali Khan was quick to win our hearts

Taimur Ali Khan was quick to win our hearts, just like his parents. As much as we love seeing his adorable pictures up on our feed, we have to remember that he is a kid who is being followed by strangers with cameras. Please respect their right to privacy.

Meanwhile, we love the way Kareena Kapoor Khan uses her voice in her “unapologetically awesome” chat show. How awesome is that she knows how to handle criticism and shaming online, with style and elegance? Nobody should have to tolerate online shaming and trolling.
