Kinder Joy introduces Kinder Joy Treat Factory at KidZania Mumbai in the year of its 50th Birthday

Kinder Joy has always been my daughter, Angel’s, favourite treat. It is mine too because, not only I can completely trust Kinder Joy, as the treat is a combination of layers of yummy milky treat, cocoa cream and 2 crispy wafer bites. It also has a surprise toy that helps me to bond with my kids as we both enjoy the treat and play together. I love it when Angel uses her creativity and imagination to build stories around the toys she gets with the pack.

Recently, Kinder celebrated its 50th birthday in association with Kidzania by launching Kinder Joy Treat Factory at the edutainment theme park in Mumbai. My daughter, Angel, and I were one of the lucky few invited at the launch event.

The key handing over ceremony of the Kinder Joy Treat Factory was held at Bollywood Hall. The CEO of Kidzania, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, handed over the key of the Kinder Joy Treat Factory to Ms. Anita Dewan, Regional Category Head, Kinder Brands and Ambassador Inder Chopra, Secretary General, Ferrero India.

Once the key handover ceremony was over and both Mr. Kumar and Ms. Dewan had spoken about their respective brands, the Kinder Joy parade commenced. Angel got the chance to meet Kinderino her favourite Kinder Joy mascot as the entire party moved to the Kinder Joy Treat Factory for the ribbon cutting.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony took place, my daughter and a few other lucky kids were ushered into the Treat Factory, where we all learned and experienced the process of making our favourite treat – Kinder Joy. Every step of the process is explained in detail, for the both halves: food + surprise and how both come together to give a combination of treat + toy to my kids.

My daughter was super excited to learn the process and so was every single kid present at the event! The children took active part in the demo and were rewarded with Kinder Joy goodie bags and toys after they learned the simple albeit magical process of manufacturing one of the most lover chocolates of the world.

Kinder Joy firmly believes that a happy child will be a better adult tomorrow and their commitment to this belief really shows in their product and now in their newly launched Kinder Joy Treat Factory at Kidzania. My daughter Angel and the rest of the kids got the golden opportunity to learn the process of making a Kinder Joy on their own – an activity in itself that can greatly help in enhancing the social, psychomotor, emotional and cognitive skills of children.

Today, I’m really glad that my darling daughter not only got the chance to meet her favourite mascot but also was one of the lucky few among the first kids to make their very own Kinder Joy at the treat factory! I truly believe this is a great idea on the part of both Kinder Joy and KidZania and will definitely help children grow and know more about where and how their most well-loved chocolate is created.
