As the lockdown continues to extend with no relief in the immediate horizon, we are trying to adapt to the “new normal” in the best ways we can. The quarantine, though unnerving at first, has brought us closer to our loved ones. It has magically slowed downtime where we can watch, and observe the special people in our life transform into beautiful human beings. We finally have the privilege and time to enjoy and indulge in the experience of each other’s growth.
In this age of social media, we have the boon to document and share our memories as we want. Many of us have taken to social media to share how each one of us is coping with this new way of life. Celebrities are no exceptions. While we see some being initiated into household chores like cooking, cleaning, or gardening, we see others utilizing this time to build a stronger bond within the family.

Mahhi Vij of the Balika Vadhu fame falls under the latter category. Like many other celebs like Shilpa Shetty, Chhavi Mittal, and Mandira Bedi, this actress is also spending quarantine time with her adorable munchkins. Three of them, to be exact. The actress keeps sharing glimpses of her life during quarantine on her Instagram handle. The new mom recently shared a post of her youngest daughter, Tara, tasting ice cream for the first time. The post was shared on Tara’s official Instagram handle, which is managed by both the parents. The little angel looks super cute and continues staring at the ice-cream. The post comes titled, “After mango, I thought I’ll taste ice-cream”. It is quite evident from the pictures that little Tara belongs to the team of “we love ice-cream”. I mean, who doesn’t?

We see the couple putting in considerable effort into transforming the quarantine time into fun family time. A few days ago, the followers of the family saw all the members having fun at the inflatable swimming pool in their living room. Splashing indoors makes complete sense when you are stuck indoors and summer is beating down at your door. The family looked properly entertained. Even more than the time when the couple hosted an evening at the terrace with a restaurant-like set-up. Not only are these ideas innovative, but it also gives other parents inspiration on how to grow a stronger bond with your kids.
Though Tara is the couple’s first biological child, the couple leaves no stone unturned when it comes to loving and caring for their adopted children – Khushi and Rajveer. Mahhi and her husband, Jay Bhanushali recently shared a delightful family picture on their Instagram handle. The couple seems happy and content as they pose surrounded by their lovely children and their colorful toys. Looks like they are indeed making the most of this family time rewarded to us due to the strict lockdown.
