When you’re blessed with a child, whether it is a boy or a girl, it feels like a miracle. Motherhood is common. It isn’t a rare phenomenon, but every mother feels like they have experienced a miracle when they have a baby. It’s a remarkable event, and it’s close to their hearts. A woman prepares for motherhood from the time she conceives. The nine months of pregnancy that follow are training for a mother-to-be to embrace motherhood when her baby arrives. She changes her lifestyle to benefit her baby. From her diet to sleep cycle and exercise to stress levels, a pregnant woman takes care of herself, ready for her baby’s arrival. Meghana Raj Sarja welcomed her baby boy into her life on 22nd October 2020. Four months later, she introduced the infant to the world as “Simba”.

On 12th February 2021, Meghana Raj Sarja took to Instagram to announce that she will be introducing her baby on 14th February. The video had a compilation of photos from her journey through life with her late husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja. The pictures included some from the wedding, engagement, and other heartwarming moments captured by the couple. The video ended with a mother and baby’s silhouette, with the audio being the baby’s cooing sounds. In the caption, Meghana stated that everyone has heard the baby (Jr C) now and that she cannot wait for all to see him on 14th February 2021.

Meghana Raj Sarja and Chiranjeevi Sarja got engaged in October 2017. They tied the knot on 30th April 2018 in a Christian ceremony followed by a traditional Hindu wedding. The couple were very much in love and were living happily. However, on 7th June 2020, the Kannada actor breathed his last and left his family and members in the industry shocked. The actor suffered convulsions the previous day and took medicines after consulting a doctor. Later that night, Chiranjeevi Sarja developed breathlessness and complained of chest pains the next day. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival due to cardiac arrest. Doctors tried to resuscitate him, but they were futile.

The news came as a shock to the industry, and several celebrities extended their support and condolences to the family. Meghana Raj Sarja put out a heartfelt post about her husband. She expressed her loss in a series of posts that are heavy on the heart. On 14th February 2021, Meghana shared a video on Instagram. She introduced her little one Jr C as Simba with reference to Lion King. There was a clip of the couple saying, “I love you forever and ever,” to each other in the video. The video shows Chiranjeevi with Mufasa’s voice saying, “I never left you. I never will” and Jr C is introduced as Simba. Meghana captions the video, “Introducing our Little Prince!”.

In an interview with a news portal, Meghana revealed that Chiru (as he is fondly called) often told her that he would hold up their child for the world to see on the day the baby was born. He had identified a balcony in the hospital they visited for regular checkups and planned to do it. Meghana stated that she’s learned that plans don’t always come true. She opened up about pain, loss, and moments of weakness she felt after her beloved Chiru’s death.

Meghana said that she learned that it is essential to appreciate and enjoy happiness in the present because no one knows what tomorrow will bring. The actress also said that she does not plan to quit pursuing her acting career and will make a comeback in films in the near future.
