Mother Gives Birth And The Baby Comes Out With This

Babies are a bundle of miracles. Be it conception, birthing or growing up, they never fail to amuse you. And baby Dexter Tyler took it to another level! This baby is proof that nothing is impossible when it comes to babies.

The small wonder is already a celebrity on social media and there’s a miraculous reason to it. Lucy Hellein from Texas, US, posted on Facebook this picture of her newborn holding the birth control device – the very device that restricted his entry into the world! Lucy was taken by surprise when she found out that she was pregnant just three weeks after the birth control device was fixed.

This little charmer has quite a fan following already. Within hours of this picture being uploaded on Facebook, it went viral with more than 71,000 shares. Lucy’s post was titled “Mirena fail!”
The newborn’s expression and the trophy clenched in his fist say it all. A nurse who found the birth-control device behind the new mom’s placenta clicked this adorable picture.

Though the baby was unplanned, mamma Lucy believes that he was meant to be. After this picture had gone viral, she posted many other photos of her little go-getter. In Lucy’s words: “I cannot imagine my life without Dexter. Definitely he was meant to be. His original due date was May 4, and even the doctor said ‘the force was strong with this one’. Although he wasn’t planned, my family and I feel incredibly blessed.”

Lucy gave birth through C-section. The mystery of Mirena, a small T-shaped device also known as IUD, was finally revealed when it was found behind her placenta. The doctors were not able to locate and remove the IUD throughout her pregnancy. They concluded it must have fallen out on it’s own. Only after baby Dexter’s grand entry, the IUD was found and removed. His due date was May the 4th which is also celebrated as the Star Wars Day. Dexter has reinstilled our faith is the recently popular phrase “May the 4th (force) be with you.”

Though the event sounds cute and hilarious, Laura Ghasseminia, a Planned Parenthood nurse, told WTLV-TV

that Lucy is “very lucky” the sharp device didn’t cause any harm to her baby. She further explained that “the placenta grew over the IUD and thus it did not disrupt the blood flow to the placenta.”

And now a little bit about this device, which failed miserably against Dexter’s superpower!

‘Mirena’ also known as IUD is a small plastic intrauterine device that is implanted into the womb. It is said to be 99% effective and prevent pregnancy for up to five years. This device releases hormones into the body to thicken the womb lining, restricting the sperm to reach and fertilize an egg. It can be removed anytime if a woman wants to get pregnant.

So that was the story of miracle baby Dexter who just made us believe in the power of nature and God. If something has to happen, it does, irrespective of all odds. And that is the most beautiful thing about life.

Welcome to the world Dexter, you just made us believe that miracles do happen, only if we have the eyes to witness them. And thank you Lucy for posting that adorable picture. We wish the new mommy and baby good health and great beginnings.
