If you haven’t watched this one already, get right to it, ladies! You are missing out on one of the best performances by Sridevi. It is one movie that strikes a chord with many. Sridevi plays a simple housewife who loves taking care of her family. But she is constantly mocked by her daughter and husband because of her poor English. However, things take an interesting turn when her sister calls and asks her to come to Manhattan to stay with her for her daughter’s wedding.

It also makes us realize that there’s more to life than just academic excellence.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel play the lead characters in this movie. The two are set up on a blind date by their friends, but end up hating each other. But things take an unexpected turn when their best friends die in a car crash and they end up raising the orphaned baby. The movie is a complete entertainer and would occasionally leave you in splits.
