The whole experience of being pregnant is nothing short of magical. With your pregnancy glow, improved skin and hair, and the tons of delicious and nutritious food you eat during this precious time, you not only look like magical creatures but also sometimes feel like one. However, pregnant mamas might not think so because of the unpleasant feelings that course through them during pregnancy. But bringing a life into this world after nurturing and caring for it for nine whole months is no easy feat. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through an awful lot of changes, and they tend to feel less beautiful. Keeping this in mind, photographer Vanessa Firme captured some pregnant women dressed as Disney princesses, and we cannot stop adoring the pictures. Vanessa photographed our favorite Disney princesses in their respective attire and ambiance, transporting the viewers into a mystical land of magic.
Vanessa Firme is a self-taught photographer that captures women in their most beautiful state. During an interview with a popular portal, she said that she wants women to believe that they can be anything they want to be, even princesses. The Brazilian photographer is a mother of two and enjoys capturing pregnant women in different themes. Her inspiration for the Disney Princesses theme came from a custom made maternity dress to depict Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Vanessa had a eureka moment and started capturing pregnant women dressed as different princesses with a fairytale backdrop, and within no time, the photographs went viral. Vanessa beautifully captures this pregnant mama in a whimsical setting with Snow White’s costume and the poisonous apple that put her to sleep. The cute bow, the pretty yellow and blue gown, and the apple in her hand give her the magic spark element.

Ariel from The Little Mermaid rummages through the beach to find her treasure, but in this case, she carries the greatest treasure in her belly, who she’ll get to meet after her pregnancy term.

Vanessa did not limit her creativity with just the pregnant mothers, but she included their kids in the shoot too. Beauty and her little beast definitely stole the show. We bet this beauty did not want her beast to change into anything else, unlike the fairytale.

With her sparkling jewelry and dazzling attire, this mom-to-be rocked the look of Princess Jasmine. Her hair, accessories, and outfit was perfect and made this mommy feel nothing short of a princess.
Pregnancy makes many women feel unattractive, but Vanessa changed that by making these women feel beautiful and princess-like. In an interview, she revealed that she was glad that almost all of Brazil accepted her idea of the shoot, and it was gratifying. She also said that she imagined how the kids would feel when they saw the pictures years later, and it gave her another reason to create more princess looks.
