As we mentioned above, “Lilibet” is from Queen Elizabeth the Second, the baby’s great grandmother. Although her name was Elizabeth, she couldn’t really pronounce it as a baby, but instead, she called herself “Lilibet. This stuck and went on to become the Queen’s nickname.

The “Diana” in the name is a tribute to Prince Harry’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, who unfortunately died when Prince Harry was just twelve years old.

There’s no denying that the thought put into the newborn’s naming is heart-warming and beautiful!

We can all agree that we already love baby Lili and can’t wait to catch a glimpse of her royal cuteness! So here’s wishing the lovely family, especially Lili, all the love and happiness! What do you think about this great news? Let us know in the comments below!
