7 Reasons Moms Aren't In The Mood To Get It On

So you are new parents now, but miss the spark in your relationship before you had a baby? Most husbands are often taken aback at the number of times their wives refuse to make love after becoming a mother. There are many reasons why mommies often refuse physical intimacy. Not that your love-life would be completely dead after you have kids. But regular refusals might irk the spouses or partners to no end. But believe us guys when we say this – if your wife says she isn’t in a mood, then she ‘really’ isn’t! Here are some of the reasons behind her refusal:

1. The Need For Some ‘Me-Time’

Once a woman becomes a mommy, some private time for herself becomes a thing of the past. Instead, regular interruptions become the order of the day. Whether she goes to shower or wants to take a quick nap, she’ll be able to do nothing without being interrupted by her kid for something or the other. And getting interrupted when she’s trying to get into the mood is surely a huge turn off!

2. The Mom Brains!

Once a mother, always a mother! From the moment your child was a baby, your wife would have fine-tuned herself to respond immediately to his/her needs at the slightest of squeals. It is for no reason that a mother’s instinct has such a high reputation. And getting rid of it might become a little hard for mommies. At times, even in the throes of passion, they might end up thinking if the baby is safe or has eaten well or not!

3. Lack Of Sleep

Imagine not getting enough sleep for a few days and then being asked to get into an intensely passionate act? You got the idea, right? Most moms are usually the first people to wake up in their families and the last ones to hit the sack. The result – they’d happily trade some moments of passion for a few extra minutes of deep sleep.

4. A Headache It Is

Most husbands find it hard to believe their wives when they tell them they have a headache and are not in the mood. They believe she might faking it. However, for all you know, she might be experiencing a throbbing headache for real. Don’t believe us? Then try handling household chores while managing some shrieking, screaming bunch of kids simultaneously.

5. She Doesn’t Feel Attractive Anymore

Pregnancy brings in a lot of physical changes in a woman’s personality. Hair loss, weight gain, skin pigmentation – you name it, she has it. While some of them might be temporary, others might take a while to return to normal. But not before affecting her self confidence. She knows she doesn’t look anything like the bride who got married to you years back.

6. It’s What You Said Last Night

Most men simply don’t get it that they are the reason behind their wives’ refusal. And when we say refusal in this case, it means being mad at you. Men usually don’t recollect things they say during a quarrel or tiff. But, blame it on a woman’s in-born ability to remember everything (something men hate), she’ll continue to be mad at you until you realize, apologize, and then get her into the mood for makeup lovemaking.

7. Not A Clean You

It is probably one of the most unsolved mysteries for women why their husbands don’t prioritize personal hygiene. While a woman is often expected to show up shaved (down there), showered, and smelling sweet, men are often callous with their approach. Agreed you have the right to remain yourself. But an unshaven beard that pokes her like needless or smelly armpits can become total mood killer.

Are you experiencing a low curve in your love-life lately after becoming a parent? Then we hope you’ve got enough reasons to understand why your wife doesn’t get turned on. Follow this time and get back with your wife for some good old action between the sheets! Good luck!
