“Ever since we knew about the pregnancy, we had made sure to include Evelyn every step of the way. I wanted her to be involved and feel special. When my water broke and I was rushed to the hospital, I had arranged for my sister to stay back with my daughter. Since she didn’t get a chance to meet the newborn at the hospital, I was nervous about how she would react to not being the only baby in our lives. As soon as we laid baby June in her lap, she became curious about her tiny nose and little toes, and even planted a kiss on her cheek.” – Kourtney

“My son was not so fond of having a little sister. He would constantly tell me he didn’t want a sister. When he first met her at the hospital, he just glanced and quickly turned away and started inspecting the hospital room instead. It took him quite some time but he slowly warmed up to her and now enjoys being her company more than us.” – Nisha

“When Harry met his little sister, he was completely in awe of her. He couldn’t stop smiling and constantly kept asking me when we would get to take her home. He loved watching her sleep and playing with her. Every morning when he wakes up, he would run over to the nursery and spend some time with her. If she is sleeping, he would watch over her and take pictures. I just hope their bond only grows stronger as they mature into adults.” – Rebecca

“Being the only baby in our home, my daughter never liked the idea of having to share our love with anyone else. Throughout my pregnancy, she had a hard time adjusting to all the changes that pregnancy brought upon her life. She would cry and make a fuss whenever we would have any discussion about the baby. So, when I asked her to come and take a look at her sister, she refused. She decided she didn’t want to be a part of it and stayed as far away from it as possible. However, with some convincing, she held the newborn in her hands for a few seconds. And when the baby gave her a big smile, she couldn’t help but laugh at her silliness. Now they are inseparable.” – Lizzy

I’m just glad we got to capture the special moment when they met.” – Swathi
