It’s springtime! It’s that time of the year when we wake up to the sound of birds chirping. The beautiful spring blooms and colorful flowers make it one of the best seasons of the year. Especially after the year 2020 and being forced to stay indoors because of the pandemic, it’s natural for you to be excited to step outside and breathe in the fresh air. With the cold and harsh winter slowly fading into warmth and sunshine, the season to feel fresh is just around the corner. If you’re someone who cannot wait to experience spring for a lot of reasons, scroll below to find 11 tweets that describe all the feels about spring coming:
1. When All You Want Is To Get Back To The Normal Days
The highlight of this spring is coming, I can get my covid vaccination appointment as soon as there are open appointment times again. Not like my life will change after, except I don’t have to fear that my spouse’s co-workers will get me killed by infecting him first and then me. pic.twitter.com/g3U62hlLiA

Gone are the days when you wish to vacation with your friends and visit beaches during spring. Now, all you can wait for is to get the vaccination so you can enjoy more normal days. Plus, there’s always the fact that you don’t have to live in the fear of dying anymore (Damn you, COVID!).
2. Wait, It’s Not The End
Spring Break and Easter coming up. *sigh* it’s just going to be a lot of people with COVID and that makes me sad.
— Dub-zen (@CarrdiganButton) March 8, 2021
Before you get too carried away by the possibility of a vaccine shot, reality hits you. With Easter and spring coming together, there will be a lot of celebration and socializing, which is great under normal circumstances. But there is no “normal” anymore, is there? *Sigh*
3. When The Little Things Make You Feel Something
My spring time trim coming up, temperature approaching the 70s, vaccine flooding the streets. I feel something! pic.twitter.com/z8BhANLFZV

You spent almost a year being looked indoors, and you cannot help but be excited about spring this year. Why? Because you finally get to go outside and enjoy the little things that don’t seem so little anymore — flowers blooming, birds singing, and warm weather, to name a few.
4. The Grave Consequences Of Spring
Spring is coming pic.twitter.com/cVDe6ma90O

For some of you, spring is possibly the worst time. While people around you are busy enjoying the great outdoors, you lose all your energy sneezing! You love how pretty the outdoors are, but you hate how it makes you feel. Yes, the pollen. Those damn allergens!
5. You Don’t Have To Try To Look Cool
Walk to work started off cool, but the sun was shining brightly. Had to put on shades. Spring is coming. pic.twitter.com/wsVPg0eEKK
— Kurt Peacock (@kurtpeacock) March 8, 2021
Spring is so bright that you have to put on those shades to block out the sun while you’re outdoors. But you can’t deny that it makes you look like a cool cat!
6. When Everything Comes Out To Play
The grass is starting to grow, insects are coming back and the weather is warming up…spring is here!!!
— Cheyanne (@CheyanneSaysHii) March 8, 2021
How do you know it’s springtime? The sound of birds singing and the pretty blooming flowers are not the only signs. The creepy crawlies who were hibernating through winter finally come out to play. They might squick you out, but you can’t deny that they add beauty to the outdoors.
7. As Clean As It Can Get
I fully recognize that #springisComing but #Springcleaning ? We’ve been locked inside our homes like prisoners held hostage by #coronavirus disinfecting everything in sight for a year. How about a spring purge & burn? It’d be easier and, quite frankly, I’m tired. #pandemiclife pic.twitter.com/46vTSbMGOr
— Deborah Cruz (@deborahcruz on Clubhouse) (@DeborahACruz) March 8, 2021
Sure, spring is coming but is there a need for spring cleaning? Probably not. Because you’ve been stuck indoors for over a year and have disinfected everything every chance you got. This spring, all you have to do is dive into the great outdoors and immerse yourself in the experience of what you’ve missed out on for a whole year.
8. What’s The Right Call?
We have several states lifting ALL restrictions even before a good fraction of their population is vaccinated and people are now apparently going on spring break come hell or high water.
Coming up on the next episode of “Real Foolish Folks of America”, spike # 4! https://t.co/7ohUP6qlEz
— Vaselín Hernandez 💃🏾 (@fokised1) March 8, 2021
People have been stuck indoors for so long that they are starting to choose sanity over safety. With several countries lifting all restrictions before the vaccine is out, people cannot wait to get ready for spring break. You’re at a point where you want to stay safe, but you can no longer compromise on fun.
9. Am I Dying?
Spring must be coming because my mornings have gotten very sneeze-y! pic.twitter.com/eGCAeTBFYS
— dr. ray smith (@RachelMaySmith) March 8, 2021
You know it’s spring when you wake up sneezing and blowing your nose. It’s normal because it’s spring, but it’s not the best situation during a pandemic. Because an allergic cough or sneeze can be misconstrued as a sign of the deadly virus, and that’s the last thing you want!
10. When You Can’t Mess With Dem Flies
Ah, springtime in Texas. I just went to move a bag of mulch and was swarmed by fire ants who made it quite clear that it is now their bag of mulch.
Fine, keep it you flaming little devils.
— jillybean (@TexasJillybean) March 8, 2021
You gotta watch out for dem flies because they will come at you in swarms and show you that they are the rulers. Spring is a good reminder of that, and you cannot deny it.
11. Make Up Your Mind
NOW SPRING…. either you gone stay IN or stay OUT. pic.twitter.com/p5OEZsUA2F
— Yemoja ▕⃝⃤ (@ColouredGinger) March 8, 2021
Sometimes, all you want to do is scream at the weather. You either have to stay in because it’s too cold or step out because it’s the best weather. This transition can happen in the span of a few hours. Ugh, why can’t you make up your mind spring?
