Being a mother is a big responsibility, and every mom takes it upon themselves to do the best they can for their children. Sushmita Sen is one such celeb mom who has been an incredible role model to every mother out there.
By adopting and raising her two daughters Renee and Alisah, she has proved that all it takes to be a good mother is a big heart. On May 25th, 2021, Sushmita Sen took to Instagram to share the good news of her going to be a bua. The former Miss Universe expressed her excitement in her post, where she shared a picture of her sister-in-law Charu Asopa with a belly bump. Sushmita wrote in her caption that she had been eagerly waiting to share the wonderful news with her fans and said, “I AM GOING TO BE A BUA!!”. She congratulated her brother Rajeev Sen and her gorgeous sister-in-law for beginning their blessed journey into parenthood.
Being a November baby herself, the former Femina Miss India joyously stated that the new parents are expecting their first child in November too, and the due date could fall on her birthday. She also said that she could not wait to hold the little one. Speaking about her sister-in-law Charu Asopa, Sushmita Sen said she had been waiting for this good news. The actress said that she knows that Charu will be an amazing mother because she loves children. Her post was extremely heartfelt and infused with excitement, joy, and genuine happiness for her brother and sister-in-law.

In response to her sweet post, Charu commented on it, congratulating the bua-to-be. She expressed her love by saying that she is thrilled to have another November born in the family. Charu also added, “Thank you didi for the blessings. Love you so so much”.
Charu wasn’t the only one who congratulated Sushmita in response to her post. Renee Sen, the actress’s older daughter, also commented on it. She stated that she has no doubts that her mom is going to be the most amazing bua. It was truly a joyful moment for the Sen and Asopa family.

When Sushmita Sen was 24-years-old, she adopted Renee and said that it saved her life. In an interview, the Aarya actress said that her decision to adopt a baby was for herself — not because it was a noble thing to do. She said that she was selfish and wanted to enjoy motherhood. Ten years later, Sushmita Sen adopted Alisah. The actress also expressed how truly magical it was for her to experience the warmth of motherhood not once, but twice.
