These foods also make better snacks than rapidly digesting carbs like white bread that cause your system to crash after a short while. These foods leave you feeling sleepy and heavy. Instead, opt for a diet that’s full of low-fat products, rich in protein and iron. And lastly, don’t forget to hydrate your body and take your prenatal vitamins. Remember, it’s important to eat as healthy as possible throughout your pregnancy in order to keep your energy levels up and stay active.

2. Exercise Daily

Regular exercise can do wonders for your body, especially if you’re pregnant. You can commit to an easy exercise routine that you can do even when you’re feeling tired after talking to your doctor or midwife. Doing something small like going on a walk or doing some pregnancy yoga can actually help you shake off some of that fatigue. Not to mention that it will also help you sleep better at night and help you get the undisturbed rest you deserve.
