The Fourth Semester May Be Hard But It Has Its Perks

Bringing a baby into the world is an incredible experience. Your baby is probably the best thing that has ever happened to you but also the most challenging. Do you remember all those months you eagerly looked forward to holding your little one in your arms? Many moms say that the love they feel for their babies is physically palpable. And although giving birth is an out of body experience it can also be a painful and uncomfortable one.

The postpartum period can be taxing and one of the hardest experiences of your life. Not only do you have a newborn baby to look after day and night, but you also have to cater to your still healing body. It’s okay if you’re finding it hard to adapt to your new body, the mood swings and hormonal shifts. Most moms don’t anticipate how hard breastfeeding can be or how badly they miss life before a newborn. These emotions are completely valid and don’t make you a bad mom, they just make you human. But despite all the new challenges, this is also a period of love, discovery, exploration and contentment. The fourth semester can also be the most wonderful period of your life, if you let it. Here are a few perks that you can enjoy only during your fourth semester.
