Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are all set to welcome their baby in January 2021. They have been prepping for the little one’s arrival, and fans could not be more excited. In an interview with a popular magazine, Anushka expressed her views on parenting. She said that she would like to impart the values she learned from her parents and teach her baby to be respectful to all. The actress and producer revealed that the core values she would like to instill in her baby stem from the values she has been taught. She said that her husband Virat Kohli and she don’t want to raise brats.

The stunning mom-to-be opened up about how her parents raised her. She said that she comes from a progressive home and wants to make that a part of her family. Anushka stated that love is an underlying factor of their home, and it is essential to both Virat and her that their child grows up to be respectful of people. The actress said that she and Virat share similar approaches to life and so it will work for them to create a balanced value structure.
The mom-to-be also talks about how she wants to keep her baby away from social media. Sharmila Tagore spoke about how the paparazzi relentlessly pesters her grandson, Taimur Ali Khan. She added that when Virushka’s baby is born, the media will finally leave him alone and focus their attention on the new baby. However, Anushka revealed that she is aware of the attention that her baby will attract from the media, but she and Virat have decided not to raise the baby in the public eye.

The actress stated that they do not want to engage their child on social media. She said that she believes that it’s a decision that every child should be able to make. She expresses that it’s hard enough for adults to deal with it, and even though it’s going to be difficult, she and Virat intend to follow through. She also revealed that she is looking forward to raising the baby with Virat as equal partners. Anushka said that they believe that what’s most important is spending time together as a family. While in the first few years, the mom will be the primary caregiver, they would like to raise their baby with a balanced outlook. The actress said that they don’t see it as mum and dad duties but as a family unit. She said that it’s all about shared duties.
Due to the nature of their careers, finding time to spend together as a family becomes most important. Anushka said that she could decide to do one or two films a year since she is self-employed.
