Marriage is a commitment that requires dedication, compromise, and a whole lot of patience. Like Monica Geller says, “Marriage: it’s not for everybody!”. When you’ve been married for a while, you will realize that it’s nothing like the rom-com movies you’ve seen on television or the romance novels you’ve read. You might love your partner wholeheartedly, but when it comes to marriage, love is not enough. Every person is different, and spending years with one person, you are bound to find things about each other that annoy you or you cannot tolerate. 1. Too Much Is Too Bad

“I heard my neighbor complaining about her husbands’ cooking. She said that he uses too much of his favorite sauce in every dish he prepares to a point where you cannot taste any other flavors. She said that they have had arguments about this, and while it might seem like a silly issue, dealing with a saucy husband every day is no fun *wink wink*” – Cassandra

“This might be strange coming from a mom, but I hate when my husband takes charge of the night feedings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy he is pitching in with the baby, but he sleeps during the day and night time is all the time I get with him. But he wants to spend that time with our baby. I don’t like that I’m jealous of my own baby and that she gets to spend more time with her father, but what about my time with my husband?” – Susan

My sister told me that she wants to send her husband to therapy because he did not know what it was to be clean. “After 40 years of being married, my parents are still as adorable as ever. But my mom disagrees. She complains that my dad walks around the house following her, trying to sing to her and kiss her after he takes off his dentures. I find it adorable, but I guess it can get annoying after 40 years.” – Carl

“I love my husband, but I cannot stand his sneeze. It’s loud and can cause a mini earthquake. I cannot count the number of times I’ve been startled out of my sleep because of his over the top sneezing. I’ve told him to try and keep it down, but he has only given me weird looks.
